  1. Can I list two - as my favorite everyday wine - that I like to open after work is different then what I like to enjoy on a relaxing weekend. I tend to open Concannon wines after work (e.g. Central Coast Merlot) but the wine I like to drink on a relaxing weekend is my go to Cremant - Louis Bouillot Cremant De Bourgogne

  2. Hi Stephanie,

Our favorite everyday wine is Beringer Knight's Valley Cabernet Savignon. We consider it one of the best mid-priced Cabernets that can compete with those that are 3X the price. It is always very drinkable and well balanced with good fruit expression and good tannins.

    Thanks and see you soon.

  3. Hmmmmmm? A everyday white wine....it's a toss up between La Crema and Merryville chardonnay.
Thank you for all your hardwork putting such a nice event together!

  5. Hi Stephanie!

My husband and I have two wines that we consider to be our “house wine”. Marques de Riscal Rioja Reserva and LAN Rioja Gran Reserva, both from Spain’s Rioja Region. We visited the region in 2006 and they have been our go-to wines ever since.

According to Snooth, no other region can compare when it comes to value, aging potential and diversity in style. "Rioja has proven that it ages as well as any other wine made, and can age even better than many more famous and costly examples," says Snooth editor-in-chief Gregory dal Piaz.

If you like deep cherry-red wines with intense berry flavors and aromas, you will fall in love with Rioja! Where else can you find a ten year old wine for under $25?

    Thanks for letting us share!
    Cheers!

  8. It has to be a Bandol Rose! But most Provencal Roses will do. The runner up, Kim Crawford Sav Blanc.

    Cheers!

  9. A Bandol Rose is the wine of choice but, any Provencal Rose will do. Then we have Kim Crawford Sav Blanc and for red, Tres Picos Borsao, delish!

    Cheers!

  11. I am a red wine lover and enjoy drinking so much more with friends. I am always up for a great cabernet, but lately I have been reverting back to my Italian heritage and indulging in super tuscans, namely Antinori Toscana.

  12. I discovered a great label in Alexander Valley last year and am bummed that I am down to the last bottle! I need to reorder! I'm not sure if I can pick just one type from them. Unti Wines. They have a fabulous Grenache (which is really a GSM mix with Syrah and Mourvedre). Their Red Zinfandel is wonderful as well. Most surprising to me though is their Grenache Rose. Very dry and light without a hint of sweetness. I LOVE these wines! If I have to choose a quick and easy wine I can grab at Publix though, probably Franciscan Cabernet!

  13. For a quick grab at Publix I really like a Franciscan Cabernet. But if I have more than a few on-hand, I love all the Unti wines. (I need to reorder!) Unti is in Alexander Valley and it's hard to pick my favorite. Their Grenache (really a GSM with Syrah and Mourvedre)probably tops my list. But they also have a Grenache Rose that has changed my mind about Roses. Very light and dry without a hint of sweetness! Love these wines!
Thanks for all your great info Stephanie!
